The nearest beach from the villa is the Koukistres beach is 400 m away from the villa. The beach is unorganised beach however we will provide some beach equipment such as beach umbrellas. The nearest organised sandy beach is located in Panormo.

Additionally the villa’s location is ideal for one more reason, it is only 2 km to the main national road, thus making excursions around Crete a very easy thing to do.

Furthermore take advantage of the location and explore the nearby villages of Melidoni, Margarites, Eleftherna, Zoniana and Anogia where you can interact with real Cretan people and feel the Cretan hospitality. Around those villages you will also be able to see some unique sightseeing spots like the Idaion Andro cave where the Zeus was born according to Greek Mythology, the Zoniana village museum with candle statues and the cave “Sfendoni”, the well known cave of Melidoni, the traditional pottery shops in Margarites, the Ancient city of Eleftherna with its museum and many more.
